The hill of Acropolis
Acropolis is located on the top of a hill in the heart of Athens. One can see the Parthenon dominating in the city from several of Athens. The best view of it is offered at night when it is lightened and it seems mysterious yet even more imposing and attractive. On the other side, visitors enjoy a magnificent view to Athens from the hill of the Acropolis. Standing on the southern part of the hill, one can see Herodes Atticus's Odeum, Dionysus's Theatre and Eumenes's Stoa. From the opposite side, one can see Olympian Zeus's Temple, Hadrian's Arch as well as Philopapou's hill.
